Update

Hello all!

Taking a step away from social media is something I had to do recently as this month has been an intense one. It started with the abrupt closing of the Mount Vernon bedroom studio due to my landlord planning to sell. That was unexpected and not something I wanted to happen, but it's not under my control sometimes. Being tasked to move very suddenly and a lot more going on behind the scenes has caused me to make the decision to close booking for new sessions at this time and allow myself some time to focus on life and other factors.

To those who booked a session and secured a date with me will still have their sessions, but I won't be booking any new ones into the calendar at this time. To those who prepaid a session, but did not secure a date will receive a full refund. I deeply apologize for any inconvenience this may cause. 😔

I don't plan on ending it here, far from that, but I need time away from being the business owner who's doing everything while constantly stressed. It's been fourteen months since I've started this photography business and have been at it 110%, everyday with little days off because I push myself to work hard so I achieve my goals. I absolutely love my business and the work I'm putting out into the world, but there are still things I could improve that I just never have the time for because I am so constantly busy. Being the only one running everything gets tough, you're the marketer, photo editor, location scouter, social content creator, printer, researcher, graphic designer, website editor, and the list goes on.

For the time being, I will be taking a break from social media as well while my books are closed. I'll be scheduling posts, so if you see my posts going up they are all scheduled. I want to keep spreading work that I'm proud of into the world, and I've been behind on sharing some of the magic that's already been made this year. 😅 At the very base of who I am is a creative and I still plan to do some personal creative projects while I take this time off, but only when the time and energy is right.

To all my clients and followers - I appreciate you all! Thanks for following my work and lifting me up. I hope you can still follow my journey despite me stepping away from the personal chaos momentarily. The praise and sweet messages I receive from people mean the world to me and I want to be a better photographer for you all when I return.
